Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we process in connection with this website and the BodyMetric service, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”) and applicable national data-protection law.

1. Controller

The controller is Altum X s.r.o., with its registered seat at Lermontovova 3, 811 05 Bratislava, Slovakia, company ID: 56 957 149, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III City Court, Section: Sro, Insert No. 188204/B (“we” or the “controller”).

2. Data we process

In connection with this website we process:

• Contact-form data: your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and server logs generated automatically by our hosting and email providers to the extent necessary to operate and secure the site.

This website does not use analytics or marketing tracking cookies.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• Handling your contact-form request and communicating with you – based on our legitimate interest in responding to your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or on steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Operating and securing the website – based on our legitimate interest in protecting our systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Recipients and processors

We do not share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. To operate the site and deliver emails we use trusted processors:

• Vercel Inc. – website hosting and operation.
• Twilio SendGrid – delivery of contact-form emails.

5. International transfers

The processors named above are companies based in the USA. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area are safeguarded by appropriate measures under the GDPR, in particular the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Retention

We keep contact-form data only for as long as necessary to handle your request and any follow-up communication, typically for no more than 24 months after the last communication, unless a legal obligation or legitimate interest (e.g. establishing or defending legal claims) requires longer retention.

7. Data processed within the BodyMetric app

BodyMetric is a solution for B2B facilities (gyms, clinics, etc.). When operating the application and processing clients’ measurement data, the facility itself is typically the controller (e.g. the gym or clinic) and we act as a processor. The scope and terms of such processing are governed by a separate data-processing agreement with that facility. If you are a client of such a facility, please direct requests about your measurements to them in the first instance.

8. Your rights

In relation to the processing of your personal data you have the right to:

• access your data and obtain a copy,
• rectify inaccurate data or complete incomplete data,
• erase your data (“right to be forgotten”),
• restrict processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on legitimate interest,
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Supervisory authority

If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page together with its effective date.
